Welcome to the Trauma Bond Recovery Course by Stronger Than Before Coaching. This course will take you through education on narcissistic personality disorder, what a trauma bond is and how it's formed and then will guide you through my 12 stages of recovery. Here you will learn to Break The Illusion, Reclaim Yourself and Rebuild Forward. Welcome to section two, where we focus healing, learning about what got you here from a place of compassion not judgement, unpack your unmet needs and learn about boundaries.
Stronger Than Before Coaching is operated by Lisa Sonni, a survivor of narcissistic abuse and certified relationship coach. STB is a coaching practice that focuses on Trauma Bond Recovery Coaching & Rebuilding After Abuse Coaching. Lisa has authored four books, available on Amazon in 15 countries, called The Trauma Bond Recovery Journal and Rebuilding After A Trauma Bond: A Self-Love Journal, Surviving To Thriving: A Six-Step Blueprint to Narcissistic Abuse Healing and Recovery, and lastly, Narcissism Unmasked: A Survivor's Handbook of the Common Narcissistic Abuse Tactics. This digital course functions as an expanded version of the Trauma Bond Recovery Journal. They can be used together - though the book is not a requirement to work through this course (it definitely helps!)
What You Will Learn by taking The Trauma Bond Recovery Course:
Section 1: Break The Illusion (Education | Clarity | Truth) (ideally you've already completed this section but the nice thing about this course is that it meets you at your stage of healing).

Unmasking the Abuser: You will learn about the tactics employed by narcissistic abusers, enabling you to recognize their manipulative behaviors and break free from their control.
Understanding Trauma Bonds: You will explore the concept of trauma bonding and develop insights into why you may have stayed in the abusive relationship. This knowledge will empower you to break the emotional ties that keep you trapped.
Shedding Light on Abuse: You will delve into the nature of abuse, identifying the various forms it can take and understanding how it impacts your well-being. This understanding will help you validate your experiences and release any self-blame or confusion.
Letting Go and Moving Forward: You will acquire practical tools and strategies to let go of the pain and emotional baggage associated with the abusive relationship. This will pave the way for your healing journey and allow you to embrace a brighter future.
Section 2: Reclaim Yourself (Skill-building | Identity | Nervous system work) (you've got this section!!)
In this section, you will embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing. By the end of this section, you will have developed the following skills:
Rediscovering Your Identity: You will learn how to separate your sense of self from the abuser's influence, exploring who you are and what truly matters to you. This process will help you reclaim your autonomy and reshape your identity.
Grieving the Loss: You will navigate the complex emotions and grief that accompany the end of the abusive relationship. By developing healthy coping mechanisms and self-care practices, you will honor your emotions and foster healing.
Establishing Healthy Boundaries: You will identify and establish clear boundaries to protect yourself from future abuse and regain a sense of safety. This skill will empower you to create healthier relationships and prioritize your well-being.
Uncovering Unmet Needs: You will delve into your unmet emotional and psychological needs, understanding how the abusive relationship affected your ability to fulfill them. By addressing these needs, you will cultivate self-compassion and work towards meeting them in healthier ways.
Section 3: Rebuild Forward (Empowerment | Vision | Action) (this is your next section!)
In this final section, you will focus on building a future free from the abuser's influence and nurturing your own growth. By the end of this section, you will have developed the following skills:
Creating a Supportive Network: You will learn strategies to build a strong support system of trusted individuals who understand and validate your experiences. This network will provide you with the necessary encouragement, empathy, and guidance on your healing journey.
Designing a Life Without Them: You will envision and craft a life that is free from the abuser's presence, encompassing personal, romantic, and professional aspects. Through practical exercises and goal-setting techniques, you will create a roadmap towards a fulfilling future.
Cultivating Self-Love: You will explore techniques and practices to develop a deep and unconditional love for yourself. By cultivating self-compassion, embracing your strengths, and challenging self-limiting beliefs, you will nurture your emotional well-being and foster personal growth.
Embracing Authentic Confidence: You will learn how to build authentic self-confidence, free from the shadows of the past. By recognizing your inherent worth and celebrating your achievements, you will step into your power and create the life you truly deserve.

About The Course
In this digital course you will be given articles, videos, worksheets and book recommendations to help you along in your healing. There is no one-stop shop for healing. It takes work and effort but I KNOW that you're strong enough to do this.
Take the week to reflect on the focused topic before you move on to the next. We each heal at a different pace - let go of any pressure you have on yourself. Healing is about the journey itself.
